The family run agricultural supplies business based in South Devon was started by Martin and Louise Pears in 2006. Having been involved in agriculture from a very young age, both Martin and Louise understand the needs of the agricultural community and take great pride in offering a first-class service to customers.

The company offers an extensive range of well-known brands of new machinery as well as used equipment, has a service and parts departments and a growing country store. The MPE Quad Centre offers a wide range of quad bikes and utility vehicles from well-known manufacturers, including CFMOTO, HiSun, Honda, Kawasaki, Quadzilla, Suzuki and more, while the MPE Trailer Centre offers Debon box and tipping trailers, Cheval Liberté horse trailers, the full range of Indespension and CLH multi-use trailers.

Martin Pears Engineering are also the Devon and Cornwall Authorised Dealer for Japanese manufacturer Canycom, offering their range of all-terrain ride-on brushcutters, with demonstrations and delivery available.

Martin and Louise specialise in working with customers to achieve their goals, by sourcing the perfect implements to match their needs. Demonstrations are carried out when needed and training on how to use the equipment can also be given.

All new and used equipment pass through the workshop and are fully checked and serviced before being sold. Regular deliveries are made throughout Devon, Cornwall and Somerset and further afield can also be arranged.

In May 2019, Martin Pears Engineering Ltd opened a large, well-equipped Agricultural Supplies Store. The store offers everything you would expect from a country store including your everyday consumable items through to animal feed and bedding, fencing materials, seeds, footwear, clothing and horticultural equipment. A large stock of LM Bateman equipment is stocked including gates, hanging/latching posts, livestock feeding and handling equipment.

The Parts and Service departments at Martin Pears Engineering Ltd offers a fully equipped workshop giving excellent backup for servicing and repairs with qualified, experienced fitters working both in the workshop and on-site. The well-stocked parts store holds a large quantity of stock and knowledgeable staff can source many others, both genuine and non-genuine, on a next day service.
