The Makita DUC101 cordless brushless pruning saw is designed for easy, lightweight, and compact pruning of garden or orchard trees. It features a moveable guard that covers the upper side of the guide bar and gradually opens wider as the saw chain cuts deeper into the branch. The saw also includes automatic chain lubrication and a chain oil view window.
The DUC101 is ideal for pruning and precise corrective cuts, as well as chopping green waste and small cutting jobs in the garden. It is equipped with a 100 mm bar and offers tool-less chain and bar tensioning for maximum flexibility. The new tool-free chain tensioner allows the chain to be changed quickly and easily by simply loosening and closing the lever. For safety, always wear suitable gloves when adjusting the chain tension or changing the chain. The DUC101 is supplied as body only, with batteries and chargers sold separately.
